aiEDU: The AI Education Project is on the ground in Austin, Texas this week for SXSW EDU — including a panel with CEO and co-founder Alex Kotran.

Kotran’s session will explore how how special education teachers, neurodiversity advocates and learning science experts can build students’ AI literacy and make AI education more accessible to different types of learners.

The panel “Community-Driven Approaches to Inclusive AI Education will be on Tuesday, March 4, from 4:00–5:00 PM CT at the Austin Convention Center (Room 10AB).

Kotran will appear with Maya Israel, Associate Professor of CS Education at the University of Florida; Lindsay E. Jones, the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST) a nonprofit organization that conducts research and development to improve education for people with disabilities; and John Marble, the founder of Pivot Neurodiversity, an organization empowering companies to modernize workplace culture to better support neurodivergent employees.

You can read more about the session in aiEDU’s media advisory here. We’ll be back later this week with highlights from the conference.
